MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Manufacturing process for SGCI Caps and Flanges requires a lot of infrastructure. EAPL has an area of about 2.0 Lac sq.ft, workshed area and administrative office area about 0.5 Lac sq ft. including other departments - Quality, Sales, Production, Purchase, Storage, Dispatch and Administrative Departments.

A. PATTERN MAKING

This department is called as heart of foundry. It is the most important department which control all dimensions required for a product.With all sophisticated measuring instruments, we have a well established pattern shop with different sizes of lathes and drilling machines to manufacture wooden as well as epoxy resin patterns.

B. MELTING

Induction Furnaces

- 3 nos.with a capacity of 1 M.T each.
- 1 No. with a capacity of 5 M.T

C. SAND PROCESSING

Sand plant with a capacity to handle 400 M.T. of sand per day with sand cooling system supplied by M/s SIMPSON ( Germany)

D. MOULDING

We have 3 sets of jolt squeeze moulding machines which are capable of producing 1000 moulds each per day.

E. CORE MAKING

We manufacture 20,000 cores per day of different sizes . Cores are dried in vertical oil fired core ovens and batch type electric ovens.

F. ANNEALING

We have batch type electric Annealing furnaces with 20 beds and well automated heat controlled system.

G. DRESSING AND FINISHING

Approximately we finish 10,000 nos of castings per day. We have fully automatic short blasting machines, various numbers of table and swing frame ginding machine. Hydraulic presses are used for coining and straightening of castings.

H. GALVANIZING

We have hot dip electric fired galvanizing plant.
